Sax Man, Lincoln Adler, an old friend of mine -- and one of the original members and Co-Founder of Colors -- brought into rehearsal one day a very compelling melody that he had recently been playing around with. We then sat down and hashed out "Going Home", which we recorded on the original album back in 1994.
I've updated and re-arranged the track into a Vocal version with lyrics provided by my extremely talented lyricist, Miriam Dance.
This piece represents the spiritual and physical journey of returning to that special place we call “home”. I hear this track in a Disney-like film (Lion King, Aladdin etc.), Broadway Musical, other.
